I’m always lazy in writing reviews but I really appreciate this restaurant. First of all, the food is great, fresh and authentic Mexican food. We ordered the two lunch sets, one burrito and one taco, and as you can see in the photos, the portions are decent, and the burrito fillings are plenty and delicious. It also comes with sides like fries, salad, rice and a drink of choice. We also had a jalapeno entrada, it was very good as well. The menu set was ard 10€, which was a great bargain. We met the boss Kapil there, had some wonderful chat, he's a super nice person with lots of passion in running a good restaurant. He said he would keep renovating a place, so expect the place to have more and more characters as time goes. I really enjoyed my time there and would surely go back. ~ Michael Y

Nous sommes des clients Français, venus dans ce restaurant sans trop savoir à quoi s’attendre et sincèrement, nous avons été plus que agréablement surpris. Les plats été frais et bien cuisinés, le serveur était sérieusement impliqué dans notre satisfaction tout au long du repas. Le restaurant était beau et propre, en bref je remercie chaleureusement l’équipe et ne peux que vous conseiller d’aller manger vos meilleurs tacos !! ~ Titouan B

Já íamos com elevadas expectativas devido às excelentes críticas feitas aqui e na app “the fork” e este pequeno restaurante consegui supera-las! Verdadeira comida mexicana, ambiente acolhedor e funcionários muito atenciosos fazem deste restaurante um must a visitar para os fãs de comida mexicana, e de margaritas! Ótimo restaurante de comida mexicana! É fácil passar despercebido na rua, mas vale muito a pena entrar! Além da comida ser excelente, tudo é preparado com muito cuidado e carinho, o antendimento é rápido e sempre com muita simpatia. As tiras de milho são caseiras (a não perder, com o guacamole, também excelente), como parece ser praticamente tudo. Os ingredientes parecem sempre de ótima qualidade. Gostámos da experiência. Não foi o melhor mexicano que já fomos mas ainda assim gostámos da comida e do serviço. Excelentes entradas (guacamole e nachos com carne) e sobremesas (tres leches e churros). A quesadilla não foi totalmente do meu agrado mas como foi a primeira vez que provei terá que ser dado o benefício da dúvida. ~ Ricardo P

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the beef birria, al pastor, and beans…everything was beyond flavorful - especially the consommé . We also had chips, pico de gallo, and guacamole, all fresh and perfectly seasoned. One major standout was the habanero sauce. It packed the right amount of heat and depth. I’m usually hesitant to try Mexican food outside of Mexico and the USA as it often ends up being a disappointment. But this was quite possibly the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of those countries and definitely the best in Lisbon. Highly recommend for anyone craving Mexican food ! ~ brea k

Uma deliciosa surpresa em plena segunda feira, atendimento muito simpático e agradável, restaurante cheio, poucos funcionários e mesmo assim com uma simpatia que dá gosto. Comida ótima e muito farta, houve demora, mas nada que incomodasse, pelo contrário, vale o tempo e o preço super dentro do aceitável, com certeza voltaremos mesmo sem o desconto the fork!!!!! Não se deixem enganar pelo balcão dos anos 60 ou o azulejo típico de casa de pasto que aqui podem encontrar. Quem está na cozinha sabe o que faz! O guacamole da casa é de chorar por mais e sem dúvida que volto pelos tacos birria. E não se esqueçam de aproveitar o desconto do the fork 😉 ~ Matilde S

We absolutely love Tláloc! I'm from California and grew up with Mexican food. We always try out new places that open in Lisbon, and without a doubt, Tláloc is the best Mexican restaurant in the city. Everything is fresh and made to order, and the staff is warm and welcoming. We've had excellent tacos (fish, shrimp, carnitas), fajitas, and enchiladas. The homemade guacamole and chips are amazing, not to mention the desserts. And don't miss the margaritas - including a delicious chili margarita. Eu nem sempre faço revisões, mas claramente este estabelecimento precisa de ter mais notoriedade. Tudo foi bem feito durante a refeceição: A comida com boas doses e boa qualidade; O serviço com uma simpatia espetacular e uma rapidez durante toda a refeição; Um verdadeiro e autentico mexicano. ~ João R

We kwamen onverwachts bij dit Mexicaanse restaurantje terecht. Als je van Mexicaans eten houdt, zit je hier goed. De smaken waren echt fantastisch en het eten was met zorg bereid. De bediening was vriendelijk en de sfeer was ontspannen, niet te druk of chaotisch. We hadden hier graag nog een keer willen eten, maar er is nog te veel lekkers om te proberen in Lissabon. Een fijne, smaakvolle verrassing. Aanrader als je in de buurt bent of om juist even voor om te rijden! ~ Evelien

Personale molto gentile e premuroso, semplice, come il posto. Il posto all'entrata mette qualche perplessità, in realtà ti rendi conto quasi immediatamente che mangeraì sicuramente vero messicano. Cibo fresco e fatto "in casa", bene impiattato. Consiglio vivamente. Top! ~ Paolo C

Comida saborosa, ambiente não tão agradável e numa zona não tão prazerosa. A porta aberta direto para a estrada não transmite bom conforto, muito ruído de trânsito e cheiros de gases e tabaco vindos do exterior ~ Alexandre S

Pedimos el guacamole con nachos, tacos de carne y pollo y tarta tres leches con dos margaritas de frutas espectaculares!! Lo recomiendo al 100%. Es un local muy acogedor y la gente que trabaja allí es muy simpática!! Volveremos pronto ❤️ ~ Ely M

This place was incredible! The food was super tasty and well-balanced. Everything is freshly made, even the drinks and hot sauces, which the owner made for us on the spot. You can tell the food is made with a lot of love. We also received some great advice on the culture of Lisbon and what to do in the city. The energy from the people is great. Overall, a 10/10 and would absolutely come here weekly if I’d live here. ~ Joep J

As a Californian, I’m quite particular about Mexican food. Tláloc has fantastic burritos and tacos, the nachos are fantastic (I’d skip the meat next time though), and the best place to get jalapeño poppers in Lisbon. The tres leches cake is amaaaaaazing too! We come here frequently and they never disappoint. Also, the team that runs the restaurant is the kindest, most wonderful group of people. ❤️❤️❤️ ~ Prashant S

La nourriture est super bonne! Et le serveur est super gentil!! Il nous a même autorisé à rester plus longtemps après la fermeture du restau en attendant notre Check in pour l’hôtel. Je recommande vivement! ~ Héloïse

Accueil chaleureux et serveur aux petits soins. Ne vous fiez pas à l'enseigne qui peut faire penser à un bar ou un snack. La cuisine est délicieuse. Une belle expérience qie je vous recommande. ~ Cyril B

Absolutely amazing! Kapil/Capil the owner did everything he could to make us feel welcome and we really appreciated it. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff did so much to accommodate us. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Also, for any tourists with English as their first language we would recommend this place! The staff spoke English and were great with all their recommendations! ~ Matthew T

It was our first time at Tláloc, and we're sure it won't be our last. Everything was incredible - the food was super tasty, the mocktails, and the homemade iced tea were also great - but what really won me over was the staff—with their huge smiles, laughter, and some spot-on recommendations. If you're in the area, come on in; you won't be disappointed. ~ Gabriela L
